Shiny Thing
Might still need some work, this was assembled without any tools. I think a Dremel is on the top of my list now... I can make my own holes, at least the small ones. ;-)

Very nice shiny thing!!! :) I agree on the Dremel, it's still on my list however, to date, other tools have taken priority....not that I've minded much! ;)
The drawback of having all the tools yourself, is that then you'll have to do all the work yourself too! No need to be rescued any longer...
Hmmmmm, something I haven't considered!! Too many years of being with someone who did a half-assed job or temporary fix on everything (unless it had something to do with what he wanted/needed), it was just easier (on my mind and spirit) to do it myself. I will have to reconsider, my line of thinking....
I'm used to do most things myself as well, simply because I'm such a control freak (yeah, actually), and I the enjoy pleasure of knowing that I'm capable. But sometimes it's absolutely wonderful to ask for help, and just stand back and watch the "handy-man" perform his art. But I get your point, 'cause when you're married inviting another (more competent) man to fulfill the tasks around the house probably wouldn't be accepted. Well, for some people that actually works out just fine, but that's a whole other discussion. ;-)
